Hi, i recently brought a r4 for the ds. I did not receive a disk with this but have gone to the web site and downloaded and unzipped all the files needed dsmenu dsmshl.nds system (folder) moonshi (folder) and put them on the memory card (which is a kingston 2gb,) then i made a new folder and named it games and put a.nds game file it it, so according to all the sites i have looked at and read, my ds should work when i put the ds back in the r4 card. But all it ever says is system file not found, put system file in, i have put my memory card in my friends r4 card and it loads on the ds straight away, no probs, and when my friend puts her memory card (which works on her r4) in my r4 it says same system file error. Shall i send this back at it seems to be broke or have u got another solution.please email back asap/ thanks hayley x.
Thanks, i have tried that ysmenu and still didnt work, then i contacted the vendor and they said i should re format the card so did this and put all new files again on from r4ds.com the new one v.18 english. And a very angry son,lol i even downloaded the korean firmware,lol, still says same error all the time, i have tried v.14 and v.11, and probaly some others, aaaaaaggggggrrrrrrrrrr, system not found, please put system file in. I will try all the other firmwares from r4ds and see how it goes, but any other help would be appriated. And has any one else had this message come up on there ds.??? As i cant find it anywhere on a thread. It also says (language english) if that helps.

Hi, sorry to hear that u have been sold a duff one as well. I have tried everything now, and nothing works. It just looks like they had a broke bunch to send out. I did write to the sales team at aria as well and they just got back to me, saying that i didnt need a disc as already as is a plug and play. When i clearly stated on the email to them that i didnt need the disc anyway as i have got al the files that are needed from r4ds site. And they also gave me a link to that site but it was the wrong address anyway and come up broken link.
I dont think they have a clue what they doing, and i replied with this as well. Hope u have better luck that me, please let me know if u do get this sorted.

My kids are gonna be so pleased with u. And hope this works for u enyaj. (let me know if it didnt) heres what i did, i downloaded all the files from the r4ds website, v.18 version was the latest. Then i unzipped them, and dragged them all apart from the system file you get with it,into my memory card, then i went to and downloaded the file that tannera mentioned, m3g6 real v4.e and unzipped that as well and dragged that into my memory card. Thats it i put the memory card back in the r4 card and BOOM it works. Very happy now and just want to say thankyou to all who have replied and helped.
