I would assume I may be wrong, though.Agree. The panel is likely built to assume that there is no PoE to pass through and it should provide it. It's likely also designed to not 'back-feed' power. So there has to be a discontinuity between the input and the output. It is, essentially, a bank of PoE injectors.
