Now I know that everyone had their own little work arounds with FreeMcBoot. I didn't have the pleasure of using 007: Agent Under Fire, but I did come across 007: From Russia With Love, which was another confirmed working title for the swap trick. If I wasn't as persistent as I am, I probably would've given up modding my ps2 long ago, but my stubbornness wanted me to do this, and I did the double disk swap that I tried time and time again with it before with no results in my favor.
After about the thirteenth or so try, I finally got uLaunch to start, I was pretty damn pleased with myself. Any tips for anyone who can't get traditional games for the swap tricks easily? Or for people who have a broken laser and are wary of sending their cards off to strangers on the internet? Yeah, I tried the swap trick about 20 times before I gave up and decided I didn't want to damage my PS2 or my discs any more.
So I am patiently waiting for my memory card that I ordered from the guy listed in the side bar to show up. $14 is not a bad price for this service. Once you have freemcboot installed on one memory card, it's easy enough to install on another. Just copy the installer elf to usb, and elf launcher to do the install again. PS2 memory cards are super cheap. I plan on making at least one backup one in case the kids get dumb and format the weird memory card. Use Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater I got lucky as hell.
Went to a store to buy 007 AUF and they didnt have it, so i bought 2 random PS2 games from that list. My starwars battlefront 2 didn't work because i needed a network adapter, but thankfully, metal gear solid worked.

It was stupid simple, start the game up, select option, select a 2nd option and then the swap trick was ready to go. Edit: Also, i had a bit of trouble. Visibly damaged the MGS disk from screwing up, but i found using the top part of the disk tray to hold the disk in place was the key to holding the disk down.
Comment Telecharger Des Jeux Sur Ps2
Took me a bit of trial and error. I had a few copies of the action replay thingy that came with a usb stick, which you can use to run programs off the usb stick. On top of that, I also have a PS2 usb card reader for the PS3, and you can use that to install Free MCBoot. I used to do the swap trick all the time before the MCboot to play backups, it's not the laser that really can be damaged but the cd tray sliding mechanics.
I never tried it for install the Free MCBoot, so not sure how that goes. And I live in Seattle, if someone wants to make a Free MCBoot, PM me, we can get it done.
